As champions of neonatal feeding, neonatal therapists must be able to articulate a clear link between our professional reasoning and our practices. This dynamic presentation will include a facilitated panel discussion on challenges related to fragile feeders in the neonatal intensive care setting. The interprofessional panel of feeding experts will use clinical reasoning to examine a range of topics, such as positioning strategies, feeding, and respiratory support, instrumental swallow assessments, breastfeeding challenges, and transition to feeding at home. The panelists will emphasize the use of current evidence-based practices that underscore their approaches.
