We don’t often (ever?!) highlight this group and thought you should know who is behind the work they create.
The NANT Professional Collaborative (NPC) is a multidisciplinary group (OT, PT, SLP) of neonatal therapists that defines, develops, and reviews national standards, practices, competencies, and guidelines for the specialized field of neonatal therapy.
Co-led by Jason Powell and AJ Lee, this volunteer group has developed resources such as the Neonatal Therapy Core Scope of Practice and the Practice Competencies for the Neonatal Therapist.
As stated during the panel discussion about the competencies at NANT 13, it’s notable to work with a group of colleagues for years on such in-depth projects, do so collaboratively, and still truly like each other! What a gift.
