Call for Abstracts 6th Annual NANT Conference

The theme for 2016 is All In. Yes, it’s that simple.

You may wonder, “How does the theme relate to submissions? What does it really mean?”

If you’ve worked in the NICU for any amount of time it becomes clear:

Neonatal therapists are not dabblers. We love being an integral part of the NICU.

If you’ve decided to make the NICU your professional home you:

  • Have a deep sense of purpose
  • Feel responsible for helping babies achieve optimal neurodevelopmental outcomes
  • Thirst for more knowledge about your tiny patients and their families regardless of your years of experience
  • Like to solve problems
  • Want as many hours in the NICU as your position allows
  • Seek and/or develop more evidence for each component of neonatal therapy
  • Collaborate and share knowledge in the best interest of the babies
  • Understand your role
  • Appreciate subtlety and quality – in stability, movement, state, communication, feeding and more. You’ve actually become a subtlety ninja.
  • Verbalize and demonstrate your value
  • Love being part of a team

In other words, you’re ALL IN!

You do not ‘cover the NICU’ – you do your best to improve it, commit to it, comprehend it and leave it better than when you arrived. It’s how you’re wired. And that’s why you’re my favorite group of people on earth.

We can’t wait to hear what ALL IN means to you. The committee is looking forward to reviewing your submissions!
