Excellence in Research and Clinical Practice to be Honored at NANT 8: Now Accepting Nominations

In 2015, NANT awarded a trailblazing group – a group chosen from YOUR nominations – with the one-time-only Pioneer Award in Neonatal Therapy. It was one of my favorite  moments ever.

In 2017, we introduced two new peer-nominated awards to be given annually at the NANT Conference – Excellence in Research and Excellence in Clinical Practice.

Pictured: Bobbi Pineda, PhD, OTR/L, recipient of NANT’s 2017 Excellence in Research Award and Sue Ludwig. Mary Sue King, PT, received the Excellence in Clinical Practice Award.

Why are we committed to this award process?

Two reasons:

1. For decades, your efforts have gone largely unnoticed while your contributions to neonatal therapy and neonatal care have been, and continue to be, considerable. We believe you should be recognized and celebrated.

2. Research and clinical practice are the cornerstones of neonatal therapy. We cannot do either well without the other. We aim to honor those that have excelled in these areas (with a collaborative spirit) while inspiring future generations of neonatal therapists to do the same.

Please consider nominating one (or more) of your colleagues in honor of their dedication to excellence.
