Dr. Brown’s® Medical, a division of Handi-Craft Company is dedicated to developing innovative infant and children’s feeding products and providing services in support of positive, long-term feeding outcomes. By staying current of evidence-based research, the Dr. Brown’s® Medical Division is uniquely positioned to provide you with tools to improve the quality of care you offer your infant population.
As your partner in the advancement of oral feeding, Dr. Brown’s® Medical offers optimal support for your infants’ feeding experience with the Zero-Resistance™ bottle systems; a variety of reliable nipple flow levels; and the newly acquired Infant-Driven Feeding™ (IDF™) program.
The IDF™ program changes feeding practice to better support the infant by focusing on what is best for the infant and family “in the moment” rather than choosing to feed based only on age or treating every infant the same way. Research results on this consistent and replicable education feeding program reports multiple positive outcomes –
• Decrease in time from initiation to full oral feeds
• Decrease in length of stay
• Reduced hospital costs
• Increased parental satisfaction and confidence
• Increased kangaroo care
• Increased breastfeeding rates at discharge
Over the past several years, Dr. Brown’s® Medical has provided integral solutions with novel products – the Ultra-Preemie™ Nipple, the Preemie Pacifier and the acclaimed Specialty Feeding System – to transform care practices of infant oral feeding challenges in NICUs, newborn nurseries, and specialty clinics throughout the world. Skilled neonatal care providers and developmental feeding specialists rely on Dr. Brown’s® Medical to help foster consistency of care, promote parental confidence and support infant feeding skills for a smooth transition home.
Innara HealthTM (formerly KCBioMedix®) is an innovative leader in neurodevelopmental care. The company’s flagship product, the FDA-approved NTrainer System®, is the first and only technology that assesses and reinforces non-nutritive suck (NNS) in newborns and infants born prematurely in critical care settings. Developed from 20 years of extensive research, the NTrainer System is used by many top-tier children’s hospitals and academic medical centers to improve the quality of care for babies born preterm.
The NTrainer System uses groundbreaking technology to accurately assess and therapeutically promote NNS – a vital skill linked to faster transitions to oral feeds, more rapid weight gain, shortened hospital stays and reduced hospitals costs. It is revolutionizing NICU and CTICU feeding for premature infants.
Neonatal therapists use the NTrainer System as both predictive and therapeutic technology during gavage feeding, and before breast or bottle feeding. It offers therapists a data-driven method to both measure and reinforce the preterm infant’s NNS feeding skills.
Assessment: The NTrainer System provides standardized, objective, quantitative results of the infant’s NNS organization. On-screen data and printed reports empower neonatal therapists to make more informed decisions using reliable data.
Therapy: The NTrainer System provides a clinically proven ororhythmic stimulation therapy to reinforce NNS. Studies prove this type of treatment effectively improves NNS development and oral feeding success in preterm infants who are at risk for oromotor dysfunction.

Dandle•LION MedicalTM is growing like a weed and sprouting fabulous new neurodevelopmental and organic products for preemies and term babies! We are a young and agile company that works with NICU professionals to develop the next generation of products that support optimal infant development.
The new ROO2 and Dandle WRAP Stretch, based on the same principles in our original Dandle ROO and Dandle WRAP, are made from a versatile sports performance fabric (with an adorable DandleLION print) that mimics the womb with its 3 way stretch. Babies can move and wiggle and then return to a flexed and midline position. The Dandle WRAP Stretch also has strategically placed micro-fasteners that help to calm, soothe and contain even the fussiest, most agitated babies. And what about gel pillows? We have 5 sizes that are soft, squishy and won’t dry out or ever get moldy!
Dandle•LION sources only the finest product ingredients or components that will exceed parental and staff expectations. Our line of organic skin care products – Playful Wash for the first bath, Skin to Skin Massage Oil for the first touch, Nurturing Balm to prevent or soothe a first diaper rash, and Soothing Cream for any rashes or dry skin – are made from certified organic ingredients that are far beyond the standards required in the U.S. Parents and staff can feel confident that fragile newborn skin is being touched by the best! A quote from a recent children’s hospital nurse who just switched to our Nurturing Balm:
“This Butt Balm has the most wonderful consistency that goes on so smooth. It doesn’t clump so you aren’t irritating the skin when you wipe. And this might sound silly, but it is the best smelling cream I have ever put on a diaper rash.”
We hope you have taken advantage of our FREE webinars (with a free CE)! We have dozens of recorded webinars and a new one every other month, many done by or appropriate for therapists. You can attend live or listen to a recording by going to www.dandlelion-webinars.com.

You’re not alone in the challenges to support cue based feeding. NFANT Labs gives clinicians objective tools to see infants through a common lens.
Up to 70% of premature infants experience feeding issues. NFANT Labs’ mission is to improve feeding outcomes and expedite safe transition to full breast or bottle feeding by providing evidence based products designed to promote consistency across all caregivers, from highly trained clinicians to family members.
Our breakthrough product, nfant® Feeding Solution, is the first noninvasive diagnostic tool to measure tongue dynamics during both non-nutritive (NNS) and nutritive sucking (NS). Objective data of a baby’s feeding performance streamed at cribside allows clinicians to view the immediate impact of therapeutic interventions and feeding playback supports family education.
Findings and clinical recommendations are documented in nfant® Analytics, our new web based reporting system. Feeding metrics are compared to full term infants allowing clinical teams to monitor trends, identify at risk infants for better resource allocation, and change carepaths to optimize feeding transition. Reports can be uploaded to the EMR or placed in cribside charts ensuring compliance with recommendations for seamless handoffs between shifts.
nfant® Nipples provide a consistent experience for infants as they transition from NNS to full oral feeding. Uniform size, shape and silicone materials provide consistent compression resistance and response throughout the entire feeding transition. Infant’s can safely train on the world’s only “No Flow” nipple, begin transition with the NICU’s slowest flow nipple or proceed to the flow rate best suited to their needs as they mature. Incremental flow rates (3,6,9 ml/min) are tightly controlled with laser precision and self-venting features eliminate the need for difficult to clean specialty bottle systems.
